Bio

Dr. Dale W. Meyerrose, Major General, U.S. Air Force retired, is an internationally respected subject matter expert on leadership, strategic planning, cybersecurity, telemedicine technology, and intelligence and military matters. He has almost four decades of business, military, U.S. government, and academic experience. He has been frequently quoted in news and trade publications and routinely appeared on internationally and nationally aired programs, including Fox News, CNN, Bloomberg International, MSNBC, and WTOP Federal News Radio.  He has been a much sought after speaker and panelist at international and national policy and technical conferences.

Mr. Meyerrose is president of the MeyerRose Group, LLC, a company that consults with a wide range of business, government, and academic organizations on strategy, business planning, telemedicine technology, cybersecurity, and executive development issues. He is a lecturer at Carnegie Mellon University’s School of Computer Science with the Institute for Software Research, where he runs a cybersecurity leadership certificate program, and is a visiting associate professor at the School of Information Studies, Syracuse University.  Mr. Meyerrose is on the Board of Directors and Advisors for multiple corporations.  He is also the President and Chairman of the Board for the Air Force Historical Foundation, Trustee for the U.S. Air Force Academy Falcon Foundation and advisor to the U.S. Air Force Heritage Program.

Mr. Meyerrose was the first President-appointed, Senate-confirmed Chief Information Officer and Information Sharing Executive for the U.S. Intelligence Community.  He is a highly decorated Southwest Asia veteran who served as chief information officer for six major military commands over a thirty plus-year military career.  

Mr. Meyerrose has earned numerous professional awards and recognition beyond the twenty-seven military and Intelligence Community awards, decorations, and campaign medals for accomplishments and meritorious performance during various military and U.S. Government assignments.  These included:  the International Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association Person of the Year, the Executive CIO Top 10 Leaders and Innovators Public Service Award for excellence in public leadership, and “The Federal 100” by Federal Computer Weekly. He was recognized by Government Computer News for Outstanding Information Technology Achievement in Government.  Mr. Meyerrose has also been inducted into the U.S. Air Force Cyberspace Operations and Support Hall of Fame.

Mr. Meyerrose graduated from the U.S. Air Force Academy with a Bachelor of Science degree in economics and earned a Master in Business Administration from the University of Utah. He received his Doctor of Professional Studies in Information Management from the School of Information Studies at Syracuse University, where his research focused on introducing new technologies to telemedicine.  He graduated from the National War College and attended senior executive programs at:  Harvard, University of California at Berkley, University of Virginia, National Defense University, and the Air University.
